Oct. Newsletter: Campus Voices

Campus Voices (formerly known as Campus Voice) will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 6 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Ballroom.

Campus Voices is a program created by The SOURCE Board of Governors in order to give student organizations a voice about policies and procedures that affect them and a chance to collaborate together.  Each organization is allowed to bring three representatives to the forum.

Our hope is that this forum will allow student organizations to know each other better and encourage collaboration among groups, while at the same time giving you the opportunity to express your opinions or concerns regarding the use of the SOURCE.

Campus Voices will consist of two parts.  The first will feature round table discussions with representatives from five or six other student organizations, and the second will take the form of an open forum with SOURCE leaders. The small table discussions will allow you to get to know more about other groups and the activities in which they partake on campus.  The open forum will give you a chance to shape the way The SOURCE operates and to inform us how we can serve you best.

Last year, 92% of attendees stated they had a good or excellent overall experience at the forum—a number we aim to improve this year! Please e-mail Michael Forst, SOURCE Board of Governors Director of Outreach, at sourceoutreach@bama.ua.edu with any questions or to accept your invitation and how many representatives you will have attending on your behalf.
