MARCH NEWSLETTER: Student Organization Awards Banquet


The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership and the SOUCE Board of Governors have prepare the application packet for the 2010-11 Student Organization Awards.

Student organizations are vital in shaping and developing the ever growing university of Alabama community.  Students come together through student organizations to share common goals and interests and develop unique ways to accomplish and celebrate them. Each organization is distinct and important, and it is important that the successes of student organizations are shared with the University community.  This packet and its accompanying awards are designed as ways for organizations to self-evaluate and record their accomplishments.

The award packets will be reviewed by a selections board, and the SOUCE Student Organizations Awards Banquet will take place April 13th to recognize those students, organizations and advisers that the board deems excellent. Organizations that apply will be recognized by being placed in one of four categories (good standing, bronze star, silver star or crimson star).  Individual awards will additionally be given for outstanding students, advisers and projects.

Help recognize the great organizations, students and advisers of the University by completing the awards packet and returning it to the SOURCE office in 355 Ferguson Center by March 28th at 4:45 pm.
